UT faculty member Kate Vitasek discusses Performance-Based Outsourcing (PBO), an outsourcing strategy that focuses on results - not transactions. PBO increases profitability and decreases costs by reducing risk across an organization’s supply chain and better defines mutual expectations and compensation against mutually agreed-to goals.
