UT Announces Calendar for 2010 Aerospace & Defense MBA Program
KNOXVILLE, TN – The University of Tennessee Aerospace & Defense MBA program has announced the calendar for its 2010 program – the seventh offering of this one-of-a-kind executive MBA program for professionals in aerospace and defense.
The Aerospace & Defense MBA is a custom-designed program to serve the educational and development needs of employers and professionals in the aerospace and defense industry. The program’s executive scheduling format allows students to earn a Master’s in Business Administration while continuing to work – keeping programs and projects on track and their personal life in balance.
Students in the program attend six, week-long residence periods during the year-long program. They come to the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville for five residence periods and attend one abroad to study international business issues first-hand. In residence courses are supplemented with periodic distance learning courses offered via the internet.
The life-friendly scheduling format helps the program attract students from all across the industry and all across the country. To date, the program has served 125 students over six years from 26 states and the District of Columbia. Sponsors have included 29 private companies and the U.S. government.

The Aerospace & Defense MBA program is offered within the University of Tennessee Center for Executive Education, housed within UT’s College of Business Administration. The center offers numerous full-time and executive MBA programs; non-degree and custom programs in lean, leadership, supply chain/logistics, and process improvement; and training and research for industry and government. The center’s programs include numerous offerings tailored for the aerospace and defense industry.
