UT Executive Development Certificiate Curriculum
The UT Executive Development Certificate curriculum is designed to establish your leadership core, strengthen your leadership foundation, and complement your cross-functional business base. Earn the Certificate by combining five open-enrollment courses as outlined below to achieve a strategic-level organizational management competency.

Establish Your Leadership Core:  Understanding the most compelling challenges faced by leaders today is the basis for Strategies for Effective Leadership: Solutions to Today’s Top Leadership Challenges. This required course is the foundation for the UT Executive Development Certificate and focuses on practical, applied strategies for identifying the most effective leadership elements and then mapping out the right path for success. Additional optional services are also available through the Center for Executive Education to further establish your leadership base.

Strengthen Your Leadership Foundation:  Appling targeted leadership skills relative to your particular area of expertise will further strengthen your leadership foundation. Choose one course from this column.

Compliment Your Cross-Functional Business Base:  Rounding-out your organizational management education involves an understanding of all functional business area, not just those in which you currently work every day. Choose three courses from this column that will offer you a broader perspective of the organization.
